care and cleaning
metal:
Clean with damp lint free cloth, then dry.
wood:
general maintenance:
Wipe dust off with a lightly damp lint free cloth. To protect the surface always use drink coasters and placemats. Wipe any spills up immediately.
Danish Oil Finish maintenance:
Periodically buff with a lint free cloth to renew the shine. The more you buff, the better it looks. Spills can be cleaned up with a damp cloth or vinegar and distilled water solution. Buff dry after wiping. A coat of oil should be applied once a year. Danish Oil can be purchased through The Old Wood Co.
Liming Wax Finish maintenance:
Periodically buff with a lint free cloth to renew the shine. The more you buff, the better it looks. When needed, apply a coat of Black Bison Fine Past Wax Neutral and then buff with a soft lint free cloth. Black Bison Fine Paste Wax can be purchased through The Old Wood Co.
deep cleaning:
Clean with a mild solution of Murphy Oil Soap and distilled water. Then reapply either the Danish Oil or Black Bison Wax, depending on existing finish.
warranty
Metal bases are warranted against manufacturing defects for (1) one year following the invoice date. Wood tops and parts are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of (1) year following the invoice date. This warranty is valid only when the furniture undergoes normal use under the conditions for which it was intended. Due to the nature of the wood, joints may shift or move over time. The Old Wood Co., at our discretion will repair or replace items that fall under the terms of the warranty.
